Five New Single-Player Games for Quiet Arcade
Klondike Solitaire, FreeCell, Nonogram, Twenty Forty-Eight, and Tile Garden join NoCharge's Quiet Arcade — all untimed, all local, all without accounts.
Bottom line: Klondike Solitaire, FreeCell, Nonogram, Twenty Forty-Eight, and Tile Garden join NoCharge’s Quiet Arcade — all untimed, all local, all without accounts.
Five new single-player games are now available on NoCharge: Klondike Solitaire, FreeCell Solitaire, Nonogram, Twenty Forty-Eight, and Tile Garden.
Each one follows the same Quiet Arcade principles that shaped the existing four solo titles: no timer where none is needed, no account, no leaderboard, no streak, and no dark patterns.
What the five games share
No accounts. Play starts immediately when you open a game page. No registration, no profile, no cloud save. Your progress lives in your browser’s local storage and can be cleared from the My Arcade page.
No leaderboards. Each game tracks one or two personal metrics (wins, best moves, best tile, etc.) that stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, compared, or ranked against other players.
No dark patterns. No lives, no energy timers, no “buy more moves,” no daily challenges, no streak mechanics, no popups asking you to return tomorrow.
Keyboard and touch. Every game documents its keyboard controls on the game page and in its guide. Touch and pointer input work on mobile and desktop.
Pause and resume. All five games pause when you switch tabs and resume when you return, consistent with the shared lifecycle that already handles Memory Match, Word Tile Rush, Color Flip, and Beacon Lattice.
Card games: Klondike and FreeCell
Klondike Solitaire is the classic patience card game with seven tableau columns and draw-1 or draw-3 toggle. FreeCell deals all 52 cards face-up with four free cells for temporary storage.
Both use a shared card infrastructure: standard suits (♠ ♥ ♦ ♣), seeded PRNG for reproducible deals, undo, and restart with a fresh seed. Neither claims any deal is solvable.

Logic puzzles: Nonogram and 2048
Nonogram offers 24 curated puzzles (12 at 5×5, 12 at 10×10) with row and column clues. Every puzzle has a unique solution. An accessibility text view lists all clues in plain text for screen reader and text-based play.
Twenty Forty-Eight is the classic sliding merge puzzle. Slide tiles in four directions, merge equals, reach 2048 and beyond. Undo is available. We display your best tile as a factual record — never as “good” or “optimal.”

Calm merge: Tile Garden
Tile Garden is a merge game built around growing plants through four tiers. It is deliberately the opposite of dark-pattern match-3 games: no lives, no timer, no energy, no “buy moves.” Three modes (Garden, Meadow, Sketch) cover standard play, endless play, and creative free placement.

What this means for the arcade
The Quiet Arcade has grown since: eleven solo games and six pass-and-play games. The homepage grid features a selection of titles — Memory Match, Word Tile Rush, Color Flip, Beacon Lattice, Word Search, and Mini Sudoku — while the full catalog lives on the Arcade page. The existing collections — keyboard-friendly, untimed, without accounts, and short-break games — have been updated to include the new titles where they fit.
Nothing about the existing games has changed. Memory Match, Word Tile Rush, Color Flip, Beacon Lattice, and the six pass-and-play titles continue to work exactly as before.
